Columbus Flowerman is looking for a friendly, full-time Warehouse & Retail Coordinator to join our team! This role includes a mix of retail floral sales and helping with our fun wedding floral DIY parties.

We're offering 32–35 hours per week and a chance to be part of a creative, flower-filled environment. If you're dependable, love working with people, and enjoy staying organized in a fast-paced setting—we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

As a key front-line member of our team, your daily duties will include

▪ Create and maintain a warm, inviting, clean, and organized warehouse space

▪ Assist with unloading weekly wedding and retail floral deliveries and organizing product

▪ Prepare supplies and maintain inventory for weekly DIY construction parties

▪ Assist Floral Coaches as needed on the DIY floor as a floater

▪ Assist as needed as a Floral Coach for DIY construction parties

▪ Educate clients on proper floral care and construction techniques

▪ Assist with floral pick-ups as needed

▪ Assist with occasional wedding floral deliveries/set-ups

▪ Assist and check out retail customers

▪ Organize and maintain retail cooler, retail supplies, and retail register

▪ Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:
▪ High school diploma or higher education preferred, but not required

▪ Friendly disposition and excellent customer service skills

▪ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with great attention to detail

▪ Works well independently and as part of a team

▪ Floral experience is a plus but not required — training provided

▪ Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

▪ Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

▪ Able to stand/walk and work on feet for extended periods

▪ Comfortable working in a floral cooler (around 38°F)

▪ Available to work two Saturdays a month

● Providing Outstanding Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and help them find the perfect floral arrangements.

● Register Operation: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.

● Phone & Order Management: Answer incoming calls, take detailed orders, and ensure correct information is passed to designers and delivery staff.

● Product Quality Control: Monitor floral displays and arrangements for freshness, presentation, and overall quality; remove or refresh product as needed.

● Team Support: Assist floral designers during busy times with tasks such as prepping flowers, tagging orders, or assembling simple arrangements.

● Store Appearance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our warehouse team and help us deliver exceptional floral products to our clients and retail locations.

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Team Member, your key duties will include:

● Processing Flowers: Unpack, hydrate, and prepare fresh floral products upon arrival.

● Quality Control: Inspect flowers to ensure freshness, appearance, and quality standards are met.

● Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull orders for clients based on order sheets and packing instructions.

● Product Preparation: Prep floral items for sale for our retail location, including bunching, labeling, and packaging.

● Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, including cold storage units.

● Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily order and quality goals.

Requirements:

● Prior experience working with flowers or perishable goods is a plus, but not required

● Ability to work in a non temperature controlled environment for extended periods

● Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization

● Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing)

● Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented

● Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during peak seasons (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day)
